MAGDALENA SOLO PROJECT
1. **Who are you and what do you do? **
I’m Magdalena, I’m a dj, singer, producer and label manager from Colombia.
2. **Where does your connection with the music come from?**
I think I have it in my veins, my grand father was a famous composer and my dad has surround me with music since I was in my mom’s belly, as a matter of fact they named me Ana Magdalena, for Ana Magdalena Bach.
I started singing on the school chorus, then I played drums in a punk band, at 20 decided to start djing,I have had three musical projects, none of them exist anymore… and I started to feel the need of write and sing and that’s how Magdalena Solo Project was born.
3. **Tell us more about the Soundhitectures mix.**
Is the first time I make a mix as Magdalena Solo Project, so it was kind of special, to make an special selection of music that could explain and show how is this project, without playing my own music.
4. **What are you working on right now?**
I’m working on a cover of my favorite band, and a couple of songs. A couple of collabs, but cannot tell too much about them yet.
5. **Plans for the future?**
Make a proper album… so I have to make proper songs for it and get the budget for it.
